Moses Lake Industries values the Intellectual Property rights of our customers and suppliers. To capture and maintain the trust of our business partners,
we believe that it is essential to maintain a structured IP Management System (IPMS) to ensure that the IP of all parties is actively protected.
Beyond the customary signing of NDAs among customers and suppliers, Moses Lake Industries' IP Management System ensures that intellectual property is controlled
at all levels of our operations. Key elements of our IP Management System include:
IPMS and Regulatory Compliance
Moses Lake Industries established, implemented, and maintains a documented IPMS that will meet or exceed company and customer expectations. The IPMS is audited
to ensure that it remains effective and proactive. Senior management reviews the program performance and any associated audit findings, and makes changes as
appropriate. The company complies with all applicable regulatory requirements associated with Patents, Trade Marks, Trade Secrets, and Copyrights.
Customer Intellectual Property
Moses Lake Industries serves some customers by manufacturing products using customer defined manufacturing techniques, formulas, and specifications.
Customer owned Intellectual Property is an important asset to our customers, and as such, their assets must be carefully protected. Customer IP will be
properly identified, protected, and secured per Moses Lake Industries' procedures and the IPMS. Customer IP will only be released externally or internally
according to the terms of the non-disclosure agreement (NDA). An NDA must be approved and signed prior to receipt of any customer IP.
Employee Requirements
Employment with the company is contingent on a signed NDA with the company. Employees will take great care to identify, document and protect all IP
according to company procedures and NDAs. Disclosing confidential IP to unauthorized persons or organizations is grounds for discipline including dismissal.
All persons who depart the company must return all IP under their control.
Training
Moses Lake Industries trains all employees on relevant IP management policies and procedures. Through training we ensure that our employees are aware of their
responsibilities to manage and protect company and customer IP assets. |
