Moses Lake Industries Environmental, Health and Safety Policy
EHS POLICY
Moses Lake Industries, Inc. (MLI) and eMAT Technology, LLC (referred to as MLI/eMAT or the "Company"), specialty chemical manufacturers to the
electronics industry, is committed to maintaining a high standard of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) performance. We strive for EHS
excellence by developing program responsibility across all levels of our organization and through awareness and training programs. We will
continually improve our EHS programs through our EHS Management System (EHSMS) which is our framework for evaluation of site aspects and impacts.
To this end, we commit to the following practices:
Provide a Safe and Healthy Workplace
The Company commits to providing a safe and healthy workplace for our employees, contractors, and the communities in which we operate.
We believe that accidents are preventable and we will ensure that our systems are safe, effective and robust. We require our employees and
contractors to work safely, comply with all Company safe work practices, policies, procedures and to report all incidents, unsafe conditions and practices.
Maintain an EHSMS
The Company has established, implemented and will maintain an EHSMS that will meet or exceed the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards. The EHSMS will be
audited to ensure it remains effective and proactive. Senior management will review audit findings and the performance of EHSMS, making
changes as appropriate.
Maintain EHS Regulatory Compliance
The Company will comply with all applicable regulatory and other requirements including more stringent company requirements. We will work with regulatory
agencies, the local community and our employees to ensure that we identify and address emerging areas of EHS concern. We require contractors, designers and
suppliers to comply with EHS standards at least as stringent as our own.
Provide Training
The Company will train employees and contractors on relevant procedures, policies and the EHSMS. Through training we will encourage our employees to be
advocates of this policy.
Prevent Pollution
The Company will promote pollution prevention to conserve natural resources and minimize emissions to air, land, and water. We will work continuously
towards the goals of waste elimination, minimization, substitution, and recycling. |
