Company History:

- Established in Moses Lake, Washington State, USA in 1984 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tama Chemicals Co., Ltd. (Est. 1949).
- The company was formed to manufacture highly-purified raw chemical components utilized in silicon, semiconductor and LCD manufacturing.
- All employees are trained to follow a corporate philosophy that upholds strict procedures in pursuit of the "ultimate" levels of purity.
- The equipment systems and processes used by Moses Lake and its affiliates have been custom designed and engineered internally to maintain and
improve the purity and consistency of its chemistry.

- Among its product lines is a high purity TMAH (metallic impurities less than 10 ppt) capable of generating 90 nm semiconductor features.
- In 1997 a second plant located in Manassas, Virginia was opened to support U.S. and European customers.
- All trace analyses are conducted in cleanroom environments.
- In 2003 the company was certified ISO 9001:2000.

President's Message
The history of our company, in short, has been the never-ending challenge to reach ultimate purity. Since its foundation, TAMA CHEMICALS has
been pursuing "Contributions to the technological research and development of chemistry" as its policy.
It took us 20 years to achieve a purity level of ppm and another 20 years for ppb. Using this technology, the company succeeded in the development
of ultrapure analytical reagents with a one figure ppt level during the last 5 years. We think that this accomplishment was made possible only by
our continued efforts in directing research and development based on scientific principles.
TAMA CHEMICALS, however, does not rest on its laurels. Any achievement does not make the final goal for the company. In an analogy to the constant
desire of athletes to break records in sports, "Challenge to the limit" is destiny for those who challenge "numbers", as well as enjoyment for those engaged.
Today, the chemical industry has an important mission; to continue industrial development and, at the same time, to preserve natural resources and protect
the environment. While directing our research towards technological improvements, TAMA CHEMICALS will continue to effectively utilize industrial by-products
and wastes, and keep up its efforts to be a company which is kind to the earth.
